HOW GOOD ARE GOOD PEOPLE DOING GOOD THINGS.

I love people.

Even though I need a healthy dose of ‘Wallace Time’ to function at my best, it’s no secret that I’m in flow when I’m surrounded by joyful and committed humans. People who are where their feet are, people who are dedicated to their thing and living their best life.

To see individuals who are constantly leaning into the things that fill them up in the present, whilst in pursuit of perpetual development for the future, is one of the joys of my life. We live in a world where uncertainty and doubt run rampant. So when someone has the audacity to take the responsibility of their life into their own hands and run with it, you know that great things are happening.

One of the reasons Virtus exists is to be a meeting place for good people. Leaders of our community who can come together to grow their own capacity and be a part of a collective network of innovators, collaborators to contribute to the better world that we can all envisage being a part of.

Early 2019 I realised that our business model wasn’t aligning with the community that we wanted to build, we were on the right track, but hadn’t quite created a system which fostered group connection as well as individual growth.

After much discussion, thought experiments and months of deliberation, we launched Virtus Athletic Development aka VAD to coincide with Virtus Group Training, to create a system which contributed to cultivating the growth and development that we as individuals need, but also the collective wellbeing that we’ll need as a community.

I’ve never judged the success of Virtus by the revenue or numbers of members, but instead I judge our success by the calibre of people who inhabit the space. On that metric alone, the future is looking pretty bright.

To all of you, thank you for being a part of our community, thank you for contributing to making the world a better place.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be doing some short-form interviews with members of the Virtus Family so you can all get to know the wonderful members of our community.

Cheers to you all.

Wallace
