Don’t give yourself an out

Happy Friday Legends

There have been many reasons to not do hard things over the past few months.

It has been easier to justify missed sessions, sleep-ins, overindulgences with food, alcohol and long Netflix binges.

When you’re in a groove, it’s easier to do the things you know you should do. But when shit hits the fan and life changes abruptly as it has over the past few months, it’s easy to throw in the towel, play the ‘it’s all too hard’ card and stick your head in the sand.

But you’re not reading this because you’re the kind of person who dummy spits and throws in the towel. You’re reading this because you want to cultivate a wonderful, prosperous life for you and the people you love.

You’re reading this because you believe that you have the ability to take action to create a better future.

So maybe you’ve fallen off the wagon a little (or a lot) over the past few months. That’s on you, and that’s okay.

The best part is that getting back on the wagon is on you also. 100%. Your responsibility. If you really want the things that you say you do, it’s time to step up and lead yourself out of the abyss and into the light.

No one is coming to save you. You need to save yourself.

One more time for emphasis…

No one is coming to save you. You need to save yourself.

But the caveat to this fact is that you know that help is all around you, all you have to do is ask.

Virtus, our coaches, and our community exists to help facilitate this journey. To pick you up when you fall down, to lend a hand when you need it, to give you a nudge, and to give you a cuddle.

If you’ve found a renewed sense of enthusiasm for life in the last few months, pass it on to others.
If you’ve struggled to get out of bed, to do the things you want to be doing, then take the first step. We are all here to help
We are in this for the long haul. Play the long game, by focusing on small daily wins and leaning on your allies.

Challenge your complacency, destroy your apathy and take ownership over your actions.

You have it in you.

Big love,
Wallace
