Tell us a bit (a lot) about your self:
My name is Breanna Cozzio I am 20 years old and currently in my second year of studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University. I still live at home with my family and gorgeous dog Tangles who is treated more like a sister than a dog. I have always been involved in sport from a young age. I was a competitive gymnasts and swimmer but now only play field hockey. I support the Western Bulldogs in AFL but didn’t really get a choice because my dad is also a supporter. I love cooking and I value how my family is brought together to not only enjoy but make amazing meals. I have my certificate II in fashion design and technology and love being creative with art. I am a part for Gunnamatta Surf Life Saving Club and have grown up at the beach.
Why did you choose to spend 12 weeks with the Virus family?
I was fortunate enough to have Mitch at University for one of my units and was really impressed by the way he carried him self and taught the students. I looked into Virtus and thought the organisation seemed to be really down to earth and a place I wanted to be a part of.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Honestly no clue still figuring that out but definitely something in the area of health and fitness.
What motivates you?
The opportunity for the growth each new day brings and seeing the people around me put in hard work and achieve their goals.
What are your strength as a person and a coach?
I love working with individuals to help them grow on the journey to reach their goals. I am pretty good at listening and love learning from others.
What are your biggest stretches as a person and a coach?
I can be quite hard on my self and underestimate my own abilities. I can also be quiet and take time to open up to new people.
