Tell us a little bit (a lot) about yourself:
Hi, I’m Lauren. I’m a part time student studying a double degree in Exercise science and nutrition science. I currently work as a gym instructor and PT at Waves Leisure centre. In the past I have done a music degree majoring on Saxophone. After many years of teaching, I decided that it was too sedentary and wanted to keep on the move.
I have 2 kids (6 + 4). I train in martial arts and as a triathlete. I have just completed my first marathon and am looking towards a half ironman.
Why did you choose to spend 12 weeks with the Virtus family?
Interested in strength and conditioning, how it can benefit people in the off season.What do you want to be when you grow up?To work in sports nutrition or research.
