Morning Virtus Family!
Hope you have had a great weekend.
I know many of you will be feeling disheartened at the latest news on lockdown restrictions. It’s certainly not what we wanted to hear, however we now have an opportunity.
This opportunity is to direct our energy toward the things we can control: how we spend our time, who we spend it with, our thoughts and our actions.
It’s going to be a tough 6 weeks, but know that there is a community of people here to support you. We can get through this together. Reach out if you need any extra support, myself and the entire Virtus team are here fo you.
It’s a good time to mention that we have relaunched the Virtus Podcast for Season 2.
The first episode is about Building Resilience. We run through what resilience actually is, our experiences and some strategies that you can incorporate into your lives.
Here’s the link to listen on iTunes and Podbean
If you’d rather watch it, check it out on YouTube.
In other news, we are now in Week 4 of the Virtus COVID Games. Team Mitch has hit the lead, with Teams Wallace, Jas and Coop closely behind. Bravo to everyone involved and moving the needle on their health and wellbeing.
This week we have Steph Nguyen hosting a Sunday Bake Off! Join us on Sunday at 2pm. You’ll earn +5 points for your team for participating. Plus, you’ll end up with something delicious that you can get stuck into! Stay tuned for a shopping list…
We also have double points this week for completing 10,000+ steps and completing a full day of the Be Better 60 Day Challenge. Good Luck!
Virtus Masks are also now available. But you need to be quick, there are only 15 left on last count. Order on the Virtus website, you can get 1 for $10 or 2 for $15. #TreatYourself
