I’d like to thank Lachie for getting up every morning and giving us all the opportunity to not be shit.

What does your ‘new normal’ training schedule look like?

It’s actually looking better than my “old normal”. I’m aiming for 5 days a week at 6am with some long afternoon walks in there somewhere too. My perturbation game is lagging and the Urban Dictionary is covered in cobwebs, so it’s not all rainbows and butterflies.

What advice would you have for anyone struggling to find their training groove?

Anything different, when practised, soon becomes normal. Be careful of what that normal looks like.

I don’t want lazy to ever become normal for me. Exercise has always been the best start to my day, ISO life is no excuse for me to change that.

It’s actually the opposite – I’ve got the time, I want to move, and I need a laugh! How lucky we are to live in a time where this is all still possible.

My favourite mantra also helps when I’ve got my bucket of excuses ready to go… JUST F#!@ING DO IT!!
