Why you should Never Miss a Monday ????

Systems+of+Success

The rainbow that you see above has become the unofficial motif for the ‘Never Miss a Monday’ Mantra.

Unless you’re Garfield or The Boomtown Rats, Monday should be your favourite day of the week. It’s a blank canvas, a fresh start, an opportunity to build momentum, make progress and create the life that you’ve always wanted to be a part of.

You’ve all heard the saying ‘Win the morning, Win the day’, let’s go one (or 7) better.

Win your Monday, and Win the week. By committing to a productive and intentional Monday, you create an impetus which will take you all the way through the next 7 days. Much like the snowball gathers momentum by travelling down a hill, collecting snow as it rolls, you too can reach terminal velocity just by giving yourself a little nudge over the edge. You can’t go 0-100 immediately, but you can build speed little by little, by following these three tasks to kick off your week.

  • Set your intention: On Monday morning set a weekly intention. This will guide your action towards your objectives. Ensure that your intention aligns with your bigger life goals & aspirations. If you feel your momentum waning throughout the week, come back to this, it will remind you why you started and where you are headed.

  • Create momentum with small wins: Most of us hold the belief that success is created through one or two big decisions, this could not be further from the truth. All of the ‘winners’ out there have realised something that the rest of us mere mortals have not. Progress is an accumulation of thousands of decisions made each day. Each one is taking you closer to, or further away from your aspirations and intentions.

  • Hold yourself accountable: Do what you said you would do, it’s as simple as that. This is the simple sauce you’ve been so desperate to taste. No one is coming to save you, you must save yourself. Take the responsibility on your shoulders, and run with it.

    What are you waiting for?
